Hi,
There is plans to support RHEL 8.0 / CentOS 8.0?
Any release date?
Thanks
I don't see any public doc for that, please check with your accounts teams for more info.
In the latest PDC 9.1R8.2 is reported to be solved:
PRS-392320 RHEL 8 has deprecated many libraries that are required by libwebkitgtk, which is used by Pulse Client.
Do you know what this mean? I've tried with a CentOs 8 and it didn't work
[[email protected] pulse]$ lsb_release -a LSB Version: :core-4.1-amd64:core-4.1-noarch Distributor ID: CentOS Description: CentOS Linux release 8.2.2004 (Core) Release: 8.2.2004 Codename: Core [[email protected] pulse]$ ./pulseUi ./pulseUi: error while loading shared libraries: libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Best Regards,
9.1R8.2 client is having the required libraries, please uninstall the current installation and install it using rpm -ivh packagename.rpm command.
If it doesnt work, please extract the pulse rpm using tar and copy the libraries to /usr/local/pulse dir and try to launch the pulseui
Hi all,
Version 9.1R8.2 (fresh install) works fine in RHEL8, but out of the box do not work with CentOS8, because after some digging, I've found in the ConfigurePulse_x86_64.sh script, was changed to support RHEL but not CentOS.
I've done a quick experiment removing /etc/centos-release file and reinstall the rpm and it work without problems.
Cumprimentos,
Filipe
Hi.
I've tried removing /etc/centos-release file and installing ps-pulse-linux-9.1r8.2-b197-centos-rhel-64-bit-installer.rpm but it shows this error/warning during installation:
Verifying... ################################# [100%] Preparando... ################################# [100%] Actualizando / instalando... 1ulse-2:9.1-R8 ################################# [100%] /usr/local/pulse/ConfigurePulse_x86_64.sh: línea 240: lsb_release: no se encontró la orden
Then, if I tried to install dependencies:
$ sudo /usr/local/pulse/PulseClient_x86_64.sh install_dependency_packages /usr/local/pulse/PulseClient_x86_64.sh: línea 312: lsb_release: no se encontró la orden Checking for missing dependency packages ... /usr/local/pulse/PulseClient_x86_64.sh: línea 346: [: =: se esperaba un operador unario
And if I try to connect to VPN:
$ sudo /usr/local/pulse/PulseClient_x86_64.sh [params] Checking for missing dependency packages for command line client ... executing command : /usr/local/pulse/pulsesvc [params]
But nothing happens. No tunnel is created.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance
P.S.: I've also installed redhat-lsb-core package in order to have lsb_release command available and tried renaming /etc/centos-release to /etc/redhat-release with the same result.
Hi
I too cannot install Pulse Secure on Centos 8 for the same reasons above. It installs ok on Centos 7 - so I've temporarily had to revert back to using that. Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Jason
Hello,
Where can I find PDC 9.1R8.2? The email which is sent to download the clients is still pointing toPDC 9.1R8.0 - ps-pulse-linux-9.1r8.0-b165-centos-rhel-64-bit-installer
