Re: Problem with Juniper Network Adapter on Windows10

Hi, all

I have the same problem and this topic describes it exactly what happens in my situation.

I am running version 5.3.4 Build 1183 of the Pulse client  and Cisco Jabber 10.6.2 (Build 59142) on a Windows 10 (1709) Laptop.

I found out a workaround. I have disabled "Cisco Media Services Interface Protocol Driver"  on "Pulse Secure" connection.  I don't know yet the impact on the Jabber application, however both Jabber and Pulse work.

Thank you for confirming that you are seeing the same successful result after disabling the Cisco driver from the Pulse adapter

Re: Problem with Juniper Network Adapter on Windows10

Hello,

I'm facing the the same issue on Pulse Secure 5.2.6 (977).

I don't have Jabber nor any connect installed - but I've Mcafee installed.

can you advise how to fix this issue  please ?

thanks

Re: Problem with Juniper Network Adapter on Windows10

Hi,

the problem can occur if you have a Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter

You can fix this problem by disabling the Adapter:

  1. From the control panel, navigate to the Device Manager.
  2. From the device manager menu, click on View > Show hidden devices.
  3. Under Network Adapters, disable the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter

Then, it should work.
