Pulse Client Upgrade

Pulse Client Upgrade

Hi all,

For some reason, staff are getting the following issue when upgrading the Pulse Client from 9.1.8 (3143) to 9.1.8 (3999)

They get "You do not have the proper privleges to install the application".

Staff upgrading from 9.1.7 to 9.1.8 (3999) have had no issues.

We install the MSI file using the Config file from the Pulse VPN itself.

Any suggestions?

Re: Pulse Client Upgrade

Hello and thank you for the question.

You can collect the client side logs from the Pulse Client by selecting the File menu, choose Log and select the SAVE option.  This will create a ZIP file with a complete set of logging for the Pulse Client.  One of the files included will be the Windows SETUP.API log.  This file should include the attempt to install Pulse and will record any errors.  You may want to look there for any hints on what is failing.

If that isn't helpful, please consider opening a case withour support team so we can help resolve this.

Thank you
