Pulse Secure 5.2 kills WiFi on Windows 10 Anniversary

When I install Pulse Secure on my Windows 10 Anniversary edition Surface Pro 3 the WiFi is broken. I can no longer get anywhere on the network let alone get to the internet. To be clear. Just installing the software does this, not attempting to use it.

Also if I plug my Surface into a docking station and use an Ethernet cable then the hardwired network connection works fine. It is just the Wireless Network that gets corrupted.

How can I get around this? Is their a patch?

Are there any location awareness rules configured?
Are there any wireless suppression rules configured?
Does this happen on all systems? All Surface 3 systems?

This is my personal laptop I have no knowledge of other machines.

To be clear nothing has been done except install the software. No connections attempted. Pulse Secure client isn't even opened. Simply installing the software and during the installation you see the wireless connection stop working. Happens before the installation is entirely complete.

What version are you using?
This, unfortunately, may be a new item; but I know there were changes for adding Windows 10 Anniversary Edition support in Pulse 5.2R5. I don't know if that will fix what you are seeing, but may be worth it

This sounds like it may be a new issue; can you please reach out to your network team and ask them if they did that intentionally and if not, to open a case with Pulse support for investigation?
It is possible to deploy a configuration that disables connectivity.

I turned LAN/WLAN switching off   on my Elitebook 745 G3 bios setup and problem gone. I turned LAN/WLAN switching back on and problem came back.

And then disabled the LAN/WLAN switching again and now can use PULSE SECURE again on Windows 10 1803 fe

I really wish someone could help to fix this issue. Just installed the Pulse Secure 9.0R on my Windows Surface book and have the same problem. No wifi, no connection - nothing!

Got this software from my university and it's running without any problems on my home-computer with Windows 10 Home.
But not on my main-device with Win10 Pro...

Just enable the network list service after install Pulse Secure!!
