Pulse Secure App Launcher Unexpected Internal Error

I have been using the application fine for weeks but starting the last few days I have been unable to launch it. Below are the return codes i see in the debug log and i don't know how to fix it.

'dsRetrieveNameValue()' DSSETUP_RETURN_CODE=-17

'DSInvokeSetupClient::invoke()' return:-17

''Psal::AppLauncher' Failed to communicate with setup client

'DSSetupClientHelper::invokeSetupDll()' retCode=-17

[Rsupp]

I encounter the same issue with the same logs.
