Has anybody run into this and have a solution?
Frequently, but not always, if I am connected thru Pulse Secure (v9.1.11) to my company's network from my home network and then close my laptop (Mac running Mojave) and go to a different network, Pulse will fail to connect, saying that the network is "unreachable". However, the network is definitely reachable. Killing all Pulse Secure processes on my Mac and restarting Pulse does not help. There is no log in the Pulse logging location. The only thing that seems to work is a complete reboot of the Mac. However, moving to the other network often causes no problem at all and Pulse reconnects without me having to do anything.
This has started happening for our MacOS users too, same client version.
Thanks for confirming that this is not a unique problem. Now we need someone with Pulse Secure to address it.
I initially went down the road of opening a case for this ... I created an account and only then did it tell me that I need some sort of serial number associated either hardware or software related to Pulse. Of course, I have no idea what this is and is probably only something buried in my company's IT department. I'm just a user at a company that uses Pulse. Hence my post here instead.
Thanks for following up. I use the free version of Avast Security. But keep in mind that the problem I encounter is not consistent... it is only a proportion of the times that I take my laptop to another network that the "network unreachable" problem occurs. Many times it reconnects automatically with no problems. So, I don't see how the AV software would be behind that.
After my first day in the office I am experiencing this same frustrating issue. Initially I couldn't connect in the office, eventually it somehow bulldozed through after exiting and restarting the program (and turning the wifi back on). Now I am home again where I've worked for well over a year, and pulse secure is giving a "network Unreachable" error.
If it helps, for whatever reason the dialogue to connect doesn't even pop up. It straight up has no idea how to connect to the server.
