Re: Pulse Secure on Surface Pro X (Windows 10 on arm64)

Is there any update as to when we will see an ARM-native Pulse Secure client? It has been well over a year since Apple released M1, and with the new Snapdragon chips entering the market, your users really need this. To be clear: the Pulse Secure client does run fine on my M1 MacBook, however it is through Rosetta2 emulation, which is only supposed to be viewed as a stopgap. Every other professional app in my toolchain has upgraded to provide ARM-native support. Pulse Secure is the last one.

Re: Pulse Secure on Surface Pro X (Windows 10 on arm64)

Feb 2022 and still nothing. The hinderance is mainly on the Windows side - since the 32/64 bit installations aren't working/completing at all on Windows 10/11 ARM, making the app unusable.

Please considered - for the most part - updating the Windows binaries to work on ARM devices - e.g. surface pro X or Macbooks with M1 chips running Windows on VMs

The 9.1r14 introduced the ARM version for Windows. Did you tried it?

Re: Pulse Secure on Surface Pro X (Windows 10 on arm64)

Yes, just tried it - and just like the others - it fails to finish the installation

If possible, please send me a download link for the latest version - I tried (and failed to complete the installation) with PulseSecure-9.1R14.x64.msi on Windows 11 ARM

note: I'm using Parallels VM on a M1 Macbook Air - other programs run perfectly fine on ARM Windows 11 installation.

Re: Pulse Secure on Surface Pro X (Windows 10 on arm64)

The ARM msi is: ps-pulse-win-9.1r14.0-b13525-ARM64bit-installer.msi, you tried the x64, that's why it failed. Not sure if I'm allowed to post an link to external resources. Do you have an account on my.pulsesecure.net or can you ask the ps-pulse-win-9.1r14.0-b13525-ARM64bit-installer.msi installer to your admin?

Re: Pulse Secure on Surface Pro X (Windows 10 on arm64)

thank you for the reply again.

My IT department isn't available at the moment, and their version is not the optimized one, as you clearly stated.

Please, if possible, send me the download link since I have no personal use to it apart from my job.

my email is - [email protected]

thanks again

Here to confirm after testing - The ARM version works!

Tested with ps-pulse-win-9.1r14.0-b13525-ARM64bit-installer.msi

on a Windows 11 ARM VM on Macbook Air M1

thanks again Radu
