Use Custom Page for the Pulse Desktop Client Logon with Credential Provider

Hello,
I have created a new Custom Sign-In page with this option enabled : "Use Custom Page for the Pulse Desktop Client Logon".
When i try to connect : The Pulse Desktop Client open a web browser and use custom page for authentication instead of standard login prompts => it's working fine.
I want to know if a such Custom Page can be used with the pre-desktop login (Credential Provider) enabled on the Pulse connection ?
Does the Pulse Desktop Client open a web browser during the logon phasis of the Windows. From my tests that's not seems to be working.
