Will pulse secure work when MacOS going 64bit only

One of our users runs Mac OS and recently have have been warned that OSX will stop supporting 32bit applications, which when he checks shows Pulse Secure is 32bit

We are woundering if Pulse will run in the 64bit only environment or if there is any future updates planned for this?

Please reach out to your account team for checking on if this is something that is planned and add your name to the list of customers that are interested in this feature if it is already being tracked. They can also create the request if it is not in process of being tracked.

This issue is not something that an account rep can change. Literally every user on a Mac will be affected. Either Pulse is working on a 64 bit Mac client or they aren't.

I agree that the account rep cannot change it; I apologize for the mistake in my reply to give that impression. I was hoping to indicate that you should reach out to them so that our product team is aware of the number of customers looking to have this support. It is possible, as well, that your account rep may know if this is something the product team is already targeting.

Any update here?
Next year the 32 bit support will be removed in OSX, so in that case all your customers will be affected!
If you do not support 64 bits natively in your clients, that will force people over to other vendors instead.

Catalina will not support 32-bit applications any more. It will render Pulse Secure useless on Mac. Can someone please confirm that this is being solved, or are we to look for alternative solutions?

I have been testing with the Catalina beta and Pulse is looking to be ready when Catalina is available in the next 6 - 8 weeks

Re: Will pulse secure work when MacOS going 64bit only

I am an extensive user of Pulse Secure, working remotely connected to client premises / infrastructure which is how I make my living. I want to move to Catalina soon (indeed at some point it will be an absolute 'must' in order to stay on the latest software, with the best securiity), and for now I cannot.

Whilst for practical purposes I will probably wait until a '.1' or '.2' point release, I would certainly want to upgrade in the next few weeks. Can someone provide a timeline for the release of a Pulse Secure 64-bit client for Mac OS Catalina please?

Latest version Pulse Client 9.1R3 will work in Catalina and it's 64bit.
