I would like to connect (and stop) VPN connections from the terminal instead of using the Pulse Secure GUI.

Is there a way to do this?

CLI based application (PulseLauncher utility) was not developed for macOS yet, if you're connections are managed (pushed from the VPN server), then it can be controlled using Jamcommand tool.
