the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail

Hi Everyone, 

Our IT team has changed the configuration for our VPN server, so I had to apply changes on my MacBook as well. I was getting an error so I decided to uninstall the Secure Pulse and re-install it again but now am I am getting the below error. Do you have any idea what I can do? I tried on another Mac and it worked with no issue. 

Error:

the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail........

Also, there is another small window on top of that says:

"Pulse Secure application launcher

Detected an internal error. Please retry."

do you have a way to get the pulse .dmg directly so that you do not need to use the web?
i am guessing the problem is the server version and the certificate checking being done for web-based connections

Thank you for your reply, I actually was trying to install the .dmg version. I am not sure what is the web-based version. 

this is the version I am trying to install: ps-pulse-mac-9.1r14.0-b13525-installer.dmg

Also, I deleted all the packages and related files from my MacBook but it did not help.

you are welcome.
that is odd; are you seeing that message during the install process from the .dmg. once you install from the dmg, you should not need to be through safari

The issue has been resolved! Apparently, the app was installed on my mac but it was not visible! So I dig all the folders on my computer and found that and removed that then I could installed it again with no issue.
