Is there an api I can use to check if the vpn is connected from another android app/activity

We are developing a work related app that has a requirement that it needs to be on the vpn (pulse app). We are fetching data constantly using an endpoint on the vpn as well. I want to check if the vpn is connected BEFORE making a request to the endpoint. Is this possible to see running apps and call a function using the proper package etc...

There is nothing available for Pulse; does the Android SDK have a connectivity check?

if pulse is meant to be on then wouldnt it be a useful feature to check if its actually connected?

I can see the validity of that request; unfortunately, it does not exist at this time.
i would recommend working with your account team to put in an enhancement request with the product team to investigate the options for adding this
