"Missing certificate" error when trying to log in on Android.

I get a missing certificate error when trying to log in from Android.

I have a pfx file and I followed the instructions

In the certificate.pem file, I have 4 certificate keys. I made separate files for each one and I tried logging in with each.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong or what I should try next?

I think that KB is a little outdated. Just copy or email your .pfx to your device and install it. Add a connection to Pulse, choose certificate auth, and choose the newly installed certificate from your cert store.
We use Android 4, 5, and 6 with this method without issue.

In the Edit Connection screen, under Authentication Type I chose Certificate in KeyStore.
and I selected the certificate I installed.

I saved the connection, tried to log in, but I still get the certificate missing error

Does the same certificate work on other platforms? Is the CA that signed the CA listed in the system as a trusted client CA (System>Configuration>Certificates>Trusted Client CAs)?

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved. Something was not configured properly on the Pulse server and the IT department resolved it.
