As
a part of our ongoing effort to improve J-Net's user interface and maximize
discussion areas, we will be consolidating the "Identity and Policy
Control" category by combining "AAA/802.1x" and "Unified
Access Control" into one discussion board.
All
existing content from the AAA/802.1x board will be moved to a read only archived
board.
The
"Unified Access Control" board will be renamed "Identity and
Policy Control", hosting discussions related to both AAA/802.1x and UAC.
The
time line of this is as followed:
3/30/2009: Announcement
message posted
4/8/2009:
"AAA/802.1x" moved to the archive category, "Unified Access
Control" renamed to "Identity and Policy Control". New
discussions regarding AAA/802.1x should be posted in the
newly renamed "Identity and Policy Control" board.
4/15/2009:
"AAA/802.1x" board locked as read only. Unresolved existing threads are
moved to "Identity and Policy Control" board.
We
hope this effort will help streamline the board structure and give users more
access to experts and other community users.
Your
existing user rankings/reputation and kudos will not be impacted by the
reorganizations of the boards.
