When reading the documentation for the Infranet Controller I got the impression, that in a layer 2 environment one has to set up different location groups for 802.1X authentication and MAC authentication. This is fine as long as both authentication methods are used on different devices (NADs).
But how to proceed in cases, where both authentication methods are used on the same NAD?
Additional question
Is it correct that a location group can only be associated with one sign-in policy and that a sign-in policy can be associated with only one location group?
