IC 3.1r5: 802.1x access without radius return attribute policy?

Hi,

I was testing 802.1x in a lab environment - and forgot to create a radius return attribute policy, however clients we granted access on the network..

is this normal behaviour?

Will UAC send an access-accept message even when no radius return attribute policy is defined?

greetings,

bart

This is normal behavior. As long as the user is mapped to a User Role within the realm, we will send back an access accept radius response.

Thanks
