I am facing issues due to two process setup, (1) MSI Agent , (2) Connection Profile,
is there a way to integrate the connection profile with MSI Package by using tool such as orca.exe ??
if this is possible, it will extremly help me.
Can we do this ?
To proceed on my last post, yes I have seccessfully done the task, now when I install MSI package, it will install the connection profile automatically, except that the connection profile must be shared over the network.
The connection profile can be reachable over a network connection but it can be a local copy. In the Pulse Desktop Client admin guide we provide the strings to perform the install with the config file.
Example for Windows.
To install Pulse on a 32-bit Windows endpoint using a configuration file:
msiexec /i PulseSecure.x86.msi CONFIGFILE=c:\temp\myconfiguration.pulsepreconfig /qb
To install Pulse on a 64-bit Windows endpoint using a configuration file:
msiexec /i PulseSecure.x64.msi CONFIGFILE=c:\temp\myconfiguration.pulsepreconfig /qb
In addition to what Brian pointed out, Orca or any other utility to modify the Pulse Client MSIs is not supported. We don't qualify that method as part of our release QA process and therefore cannot guarantee its functionality.
