OAC client unistanllation fail - "Unable to load module jnprnaapi.dll"

Hi,

I have a problem with the installation of the OAC client on a PC;

in particular after the installation of a .msi file cointaining a preconfigured version of the client, I receive the message "Unable to load module jnprnaapi.dll (error code 126)", and even if I try to reboot the PC the message always appears.

I've also tried to unistall the client, but the disinstallation fails.

Sofia,

You will probably need to contact JTAC to open a case.

You can do so through the web case manager off the support page.

http://www.juniper.net/customers/support/index.jsp

Click on Case Manager and login with your CSC information.

I had the same issue and this is what I did to fix it.

-Unistall client (don't worry about the error)

-delete Juniper folder under the Program Files folder.

-delete Juniper folder in the Common Files folder in the Program Files folder.

-delete any files/folders in the temp folder for the user you are logged in as (c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp

-use regedit and delete the Funk and Juniper keys.

-restart

-reinstall the client it should go through without a hitch. (at least it did for me!)

Re: OAC client unistanllation fail - "Unable to load module jnprnaapi.dll"

I just had a call and ended up doing pretty much exactly what DanWT did.

Whack the program files folder, the registry keys, and the common files folder to me seems to be the key. The PC having the problem did not have jnprnaapi.dll in there at all.

after the reinstall I've noticed it takes a very long time to reboot, make sure you wait for the PC to reboot instead of just holding down the power button, I have had to redo the removal every time someone doesn't want to wait for the PC to finish and reboot itself. It isn't locking up, just taking it's time...
