OAC with 802.1x authentication

Hi Experts

My question is that When end user PC sends user name/password through Oddesy access client to switch then it also sends the security status of end user PC (through bultin hostchecker feature of OAC) to switch simultanously with user name/password?

I mean both events occur simutanously or after each other? AND security status is asked by IC after authentication or end user PC itself sends the secuirty status with username/password?

Actually it depends on how you configure host check policy on IC. There are two ways of doing it --

1) Pre Auth host check--- In this host checking is done and depending on its result end user is prompted for credential. So first host check then credential.

2) Post Auth host check--- In this credential screen is provided first and then after successful authetication host checking is done.

Actually I was asking this quesiton in context with 802.1x authentication. I believe there should be no pre-auth avaiable for 802.1x solution. Am i correct?

My question is that when PC wants to access network with 802.1x auth then it sends the credentials and security status simultanously through EAP messages? What is the order of these two events?
