Pulse Desktop client and wireless adapter enable / disable feature

Hi, we are using in Pulse client feature that when connecting network cable to laptop it will disable wlan adapter (computer is only one network same time). After unplug the network cable from laptop it will again enable the wireless network card. It has been working many years quite good (OS windows 7-64bit) but after upgrading the clients 5.2.3.537 or newer there has been some computers that some time it not anymore enables the wireless card (not every computer and not every time).
When we check from new computer (like Lenovo W541) AdapterType it shows Ethernet 802.3 and old computers AdapterType is empty or 9 (what is wireless on Microsoft documentation). Can it be the problem?

Do you have some feature/known issue in new client software what can make this feature?

Your observation may be the case here.

I would suggest opening a case with our support group so they can investigate further.

Yea we're also having this issue on a much widespread scale now. It's happening lot more frequently than before.
