SBR 6.0 with IC-4000

hi

i need help in configuring SBR 6 with already running IC-4000 setup, at present IC-4000's builtin SBR's instance is used. Now i wanna use external sbr server for dot1x authentication. On IC-4000 Active directory server is used for authentication.

What minimal changes are required in my current setup?

Regards,

Raja

Re: SBR 6.0 with IC-4000

First question. Why do you want to use an external SBR server for 802.1X?

Are you using a protocol that is not supported on the IC? Something like EAP-FAST or LEAP?

If that is the case, you have to treat the downstream SBR server as a PROXY server and not an auth server. You will want to use the OUTTER PROXY option on the IC for this.

Refer to the UAC admin guide for assistance here.

Good luck

Re: SBR 6.0 with IC-4000

hi,

Actually i wanna use External SBR because of IC-4000 internal SBR service continuously stop and start after different intervals and creating problems in OAC authentication.
