UAC Host Checker with Cisco switches

Hi all,

We have UAC with hostchecker working fine on a Juniper switch using the Pulse client and Juniper EAP-TTLS installed as part of the Pulse build. (is this JUAC protocol????).

However we cannot get this to work with a Cisco Catalyst switch, dot1x authentication works fine, but host checker fails.

My question is simple, can this work or does anyone have this working? [ supplicant > Cisco switch > UAC with host checker]

I am thinking that it relies on a proprietary_ protocol..... any suggestions more than welcome?

Hi,

Host checking works well with Cisco switch.

Basic thing that need to be checked,

- If EAP-TTLS and EAP-JUAC is configured at both supplicnat and IC.

- Switchport is configured for dot1x Authentication as well as Authorization.

If above said is verified and still you see the problem, below is required to troubleshoot the problem._

- Switch configuration

- IC logs

- supplicant configuration
