UAC - Use OAC or Junos Pulse?

Hi,

In UAC requirement, should we propose OAC or Junos Pulse?

Junos Pulse is better, right?

Re: UAC - Use OAC or Junos Pulse?

Hi Michael,

Yes recommending Junos pulse instead of OAC is the better option since junos pulse also support both L2 & L3 authentication in UAC.

Thanks, Kannan.

Is there any reason why OAC is better than Junos Pulse?
Should all OAC users switch to Junos Pulse?

Hi Michael,

I don't see any reason otherthan pulse being dependent on native dot1x supplicant for Layer 2 authentication.

Hi Kannan,

I would like to list out reasons customers should go for Junos Pulse. Will IPv6 be supported soon on UAC?

Re: UAC - Use OAC or Junos Pulse?

Hi Michael,

Junos Pulse is a single integrated, multiservice network client that provides the basic services provided by the older Network Connect and Odyssey Access Client software. Pulse also provides dynamic connectivity, access control, security, and application acceleration for Microsoft Windows-based devices, secure connectivity for Mac OSX devices, and connectivity, mobile security, and mobile device management (MDM) for mobile devices, all with a simple, easy to use, elegant user experience.

The below URL has the information on comparing Odyssey Access Client and Junos Pulse
