Unable to start SBR on Linux server.

Hello community, 

 

I'm working on a SBR lab using version 7.5 Carrier. Install goes well, also configuring. 

 

The system is a Virtualized server runnning 8GB of RAM and 4 virtual cores.

 

However, everytime I try to start the sbrd service it gives me the following error:

Since I don't have a rhel license I'm running Scientific Linux 6.1 x64

Hi Sergei,

SBR isn't supported on anything other than Red Hat 6.1.  If you are attempting to use anything else you will have to make sure all of the necessary libraries are included in the version you are attempting to run.

Thank you fot your reply.

 

I used yum to install the package so it could automatically retrieve all the required libraries, it did downloaded all the files and installation went smoothly, are there any other libraries that I should be aware of?

Yes there may be other libraries that are standard with Red Hat that are not included with the version you are running.

yum will pull in the list of dependencies that were identified as necessary in QA.  We only qualified Red Hat, so there's no telling what might be missing.

So I don't think that this has to do with the linux distro I'm using.
