Hi all,
I'm working on an issue relevant to the Juniper UAC behaviour when the windows password expires.
The password expires every 30 days due to the configured domain policy.
The OAC client has the following settings:
on 'User Info' tab -> password, I have checked both 'permit login using password' and the radio button 'Use Windows password'.
On the 'Authentication' tab, I am using EAP-TTLS and 'disable server verification'.
The user, after the pc powers on, regularly changes his password with the windows popup.
The OAC client behaves as follows:
If my user has an administrator profile, the OAC asks the old password, the new password and confirm of the new password. It works fine.
If my user is not an administrator (this must be the standard), the OAC asks only the new password and it doesn't work neither with the old nor with the new password.
I am using UAC release 4.1 and the OAC with the release 5.2.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks

Hi all,
here I am, I'm sorry if I'm late.
I did some tests with our customer and we found a solution to our problem.
Now that I know the solution, it seems really easy.
I configure the tab:Connection settings-> User Account-> 'After windows logon, before the desktop appears instead' of ' After the user's desktop appears'-
It is still working fine.
Thanks to all,
Lorenzo
Hi,
I understand your issue, can you test the scenario with EAP PEAP as outer authentication and EAP MS-CHAPV2 as inner authentication protocol and share us the results.
Also can you let me know whether you are using LDAP or AD auth server in IC for OAC authentication?
Regards,
Kannan
Hi Kannan,
they are using an AD auth server.
Unfortunately we will do new tests only next Monday, I will share the results as soon as possible.
Thank you very much,
Lorenzo
Hi Lorenzo,
