user session on 802.1x

hi All

i have question regarding IC as radius server in 802.1x environment. when user logging for L2 authentication (802.1x) the user session will recorded as active user.how ic keep/check whether the user still active or not ?

The IC must receive accounting start and stop from the access point or switch to accurately track the user session.

If there are no accounting messages, the session will remain active on the IC until the role session length is hit.
