which UAC Version will support Smart Devices

Currently i understand that smart devices can be managed by junos pulse through sslvpn; But would like to know when UAC will support for smart devices;

Hi Winston,

Hostchecking of smart devices are supported from IC4.2, which is likely to be released by end of March, 2012.

NO pulse client or OAC client we have for dot1x on smart devices(except for Windows Mobile/CE). L2 authentication(dot1x) should work well with the currently available IC versions, when you use native supplicant.

What sort of enforcement i can have with UAC version 4.2 apart from compliance check; In SSL VPN i can define which resources these devices can access; Can the same be achieved for mobile devices also through host enforcer.

Host enforcer is not available in UAC 4.2 for smart devices.

Agentless L3 enforcement is supported.
