Azure cloud vADC Traffic Manager Changing Traffic Manager Name

Wonder if someone in this community has faced any problems like this. Would be great if anyone can help.

We have vADC vers 17.4 with vWAF deployed on Azure cloud as a cluster.  After build problem what i have is that the I am not able to change the name of the Traffic manager from its IP address to a hostname. I dont see that option anywhere in the GUI.

As per the below screenshots,  System -> Traffic Managers settings, the IP address is shown there as Traffic manager name and as Kerberos Hostname.  Also in "Replace Traffic manager Name with an IP address settings" it showing the nameip as the IP address.

Can anyone please help me find how to get away from this.traffic manager settings contd.traffic manager settings contd.traffic manager settingstraffic manager settings

Hello - I raised this with the team and they will look into it - if you prefer, you could raise a support case to have this tracked more formally, and you may be able to provide some more detail on this problem.

Re: Azure cloud vADC Traffic Manager Changing Traffic Manager Name

Hi,

I raised a support case and a engineer is helping me with this. Looks like a bug or a functionality which is needed. I am deploying vADC/WAF as a availiabilty set of 2 and in this case, there is a problem.

If you build individual devices, names does seem to appear when we change those settings.

thanks
