Which authentication methods are valid on the Exchange 2013 nodes, when Load Balancing with the STM.

- All (BASIC, NTLM, Kerberos)?

Not sure what is the intention but my suggestion is to leave the authentication at Exchange 2013. Exchange 2013 is considered all in one with their authentication uses backend comm back to DC/AD. Following the deployment Steelapp-MSExchange 2013 whitpaperis good enough.
