I have configured email alerting from VTM (version - Virtual Traffic Manager Services Director 18.1 ) for couple of errors like Pool has no back-end nodes responding, Node has failed etc.
I have observed that I am receiving multiple emails for the same issue.
For e.g. I have a load balancer and lets say some issue happens with a VM related to this LB, I will receive 2 emails for the same. Ideally I should receive 1 mail per issue.
Please let me know what could be the issue and how to resolve the same.

To elaborate more,
The issue that we are facing here is whenever any pool fails we receive email alert for the same, and the same email alert continues to trigger everytime the polling happens till the issue get resolved. Hence we receive hundreds of emails for the same issue. Ideally we should one email when the issue occurs and another email when the issue resolve. I cannot find an option to rectify these duplicate emails.
I would appreciate if we get a solution for this.

Thanks - what is the warning interval you have set?
It may be possible to extend the interval between repeated alerts.
You may need to raise a support ticket to look in detail at your configuration
