Response Login

We have a Loadbalancer in place. The logging is enabled, but found that it logs only request received, not the response provided..Is there any option to record http response as well..?

Also is there any way to monitor the log and set an alert based on the http request error or some of the HTTP attributes..?

Re: Response Login

The best way is to set up a rule which logs requests/responses that you need. Here is an article which gives a simple example:

You could create a condition and log only those transactions which match a URL pattern, source/destination, cookies, or even the node which is serving the requests - or some combination of the above.

You can create more complex triggers and selective logging based on transaction completion codes: /t5/vADC-Docs/Finding-a-needle-in-your-haystack-using-the-connection/ta-p/73768

Re: Response Login

Thank you. Is there any settings available to mention what all need to be logged in as part of the standard logging..?

Also, I found that, the client IP logged-in is the internet service provider 's ip, not the local client IP. is there any way to include local client  as well..?

Re: Response Login

Logging options:

There are a number of options to allow more detailed logging. You can use TrafficScript to log custom info (as above), or you can use filters using the Event Log settings:

Client IP Address:
If this information is added to the header info then you should be able to extract that information
