Stack WS-C3650-48PD-L, ring or not?

I want to create a stack with my two Catalyst WS-C3650-48PD-L switch . Is it possible  with one kit stack wise or it's necessary to order two kits (ring topology ?). Thanks.

Hi there

though I'm not sure why it's related to Steelapp but stacking c3650 you would need 2 cab-stack-50cm. Though 1 is enough, but since you need 2 stacking interface module, the stack cable 50cm comes 'free'.Thx

I used to use Stack WS-c3640-48PD-L. It used to ring even My new Switch  HP J9623A (https://www.allhdd.com/hp-j9623a-rack-mountable-switch/ )  also ring

I used to use Stack WS-C3650-48PD-L. I used to ring. Even I have been using HP J9623A (https://www.allhdd.com/hp-j9623a-rack-mountable-switch/ )server for many years and It also rings.
