SteelApp Disk partition /logs is 99% full

Hi All,

 

I have Riverbed Stingray Traffic Manager Virtual Appliance 1000 M 9.6r1 as VMware VM with the below alert in red:

 

Disk partition /logs is 99% full 

 

where an how can I reduce the log to amke sure that the appliance is not crashing ?

Freeing disk space on the Virtual Appliance

 

Suggest you review the log files to determine if any further actions or warnings are present, and focus on freeing the disk space, in preference to increasing the disk space (which is another article)

 

Also, are you using the Application Firewall? Or just the Traffic manager? You may be able to tune the information being sent to the log files.

I'm using the traffic manager only as the load balancer for my Terminal Server and Exchange Server.

So do I just connect using putty and then perform rm -rf /logs/.tmp/* ?
