Thales Cipher cards

Hello, maybe a simple question / answer post.

I was given a set of cipher cards and a serial card reader. They are marked THALES, and supposedly go with the STM appliance. If so, I can't find any reference to installation and use of this encryption techniques.

The cards look to be the same size as a driver license, and I have 12 of them - six per appliance.
