ZCLI command to view and alter user group permissions?

Hi,

I'd like to use the zcli to view and alter the (very) granular permissions levels granted to user groups. The corresponding GUI page is System/Users/Groups/Group-name - permissions section.

I've trawled through the Stingray 9.8 Control API manual and the Stingray 9.0 User Manual but can't seem to find the command I'm looking for.

I'm running Stingray LTM v9.6r1.

Thanks

Gary

Re: ZCLI command to view and alter user group permissions?

Hi Gary,

I've just checked and it would seem that there is not a Control API for creating new groups and/or altering a groups permissions. As you have discovered the User/Group functionality is currently limited to:

  • listUsers
  • listGroups
  • addUser
  • deleteUser
  • changePassword

I could open an enhancement request for you, but it would be better if you could open a support ticket and make the request yourself. This helps us to keep track of the number of users requesting each new enhancement.

Cheers,

Mark

Is there a way to publicly track enhancement requests?

Sameh,

Let me do some digging and find out if this is possible...

Cheers.
