I've written a ZenPack plugin for Zenoss (http://community.zenoss.org), which monitors Riverbed Stingray v9
You can fetch it from here:
1. Device monitoring, including Throughput, Current Connections, Requests/s plus CPU, Memory and NIC stats
2. VirtualServer discovery and monitoring for Throughput, Connections, Timeouts and GzipBytesSaved
3. Pool discovery and monitoring for Throughput, Connections, Requests and Errors
4. Node discovery and monitoring for Throughput, Connections, Requests and Errors.
I haven't set up any thresholds for alerting as they are specific to different people's needs.
For those of you who use it, I'd appreciate any feedback you might have, if you want something added or removed and any bug reports, if you find any.
I've attached screenshots.
I've updated this Zenoss plugin to support Stingray 9.4
The only change is that 9.4 hides the "discard" pool from the SNMP agent, which means that Zenoss barfs when trying to see that pool.
This version ignores any pools called "discard". It's safe, as Stingray won't let you create one called "discard" anyway.
