This version of the Brocade Services Director makes it easier to automate the creation of new services, with the ability for auto-registration of externally deployed instances of Brocade vTM, whether in private cloud or AWS deployments.
Highlights in this release include:
- Auto-registration - This latest version of Brocade Services Director is able to recognise registration from externally deployed instances of Brocade vTM, and automatically accept/reject registration based on centrally defined policies. This reduces the need for manual intervention when deploying large numbers of vTM instances. Note that this requires Brocade vTM 11.0 or greater.
- AWS Cloud deployments - The latest version of Services Director generates AWS userdata that can trigger AWS deployments to auto-register with Services Director. Such registrations may be manually or even automatically accepted, now making it easier to manage AWS based vTM deployments in Services Director
