Yes what are the restrictions on migrating the configs (do both have to be on the same version of firmware?). Configuration import must be done on the same or higher version. Import is not allow on a lower version. The recommendation is to ensure both devices are on the same version. am i able to directly migrate any certificates from the SA2500 to MAG4610 devices. Yes.

CMC builds are a stripped version of the Junos OS. While new junos releases are issued periodically, cmc builds of junos are only released when a code change is required. Once it was discovered CMC need to be fixed, it was decided to use the latest build at the time which was R12. In regards to CMC, this was released to resolve the vulnerability. While there were other codes to junos between R11 and R12, these are not relative to CMC.

Licenses are shared between all nodes in the cluster. If the connectivity between the nodes is broken, there is a 10 day grace period to resolve this issue. If network connectivity between the nodes is not resolved after 10 days, the nodes will be treated as standalone devices.

I could not find any reported issue. Oddly enough, I did find an similiar issue for Firefox which was resolved in 7.4R8. Have you opened a support case for this issue? I would be interested to review the client debug logs to see if it is displaying the same symptoms or not.

If you set a max session of 60 minutes, VPN tunnel should be disconnected at 60 minutes. Do you see the end user reconnecting back in the user access logs? In regards to the key exchange, vpn tunnel will attempt to rekey every 12 minutes (by default). This should not affect the max timeout scenario.

If we are talking about sending IPv6 traffic through the VPN tunnel, this should work with Pulse 5.0 and Pulse Secure gateway 8.0. You can refer to the table on pg 961 (http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/sa8.0/information-products/topic-collections/junos-pulse-secure-access-service-8-0-adminguide.pdf) There are certain limitation depending if you are talking about IPv4 to IPv6 or IPv6 to IPv6 through the tunnel as we had to make changes to both the Pulse Secure gateway and Pulse Secure client software.

Are we talking about IPv6 via the VPN tunnel? We starting supporting IPv6 in different phases. Partial support started in 7.3 and 7.4. Hello Filbert, What software version are you running on the Pulse Secure gateway (SA/MAG device)? If you are running 7.4R12 and below, I believe there was an similiar issue which we resolved in 7.4R13 ( 892096). The release notes state JSAM, but I did find a few tickets which were related to iOS8 and confirmed resolve due to this change.
