I applied service release 6.2R5 last night. When I logged in afterwards, I was prompted to install a newer version of the Juniper Terminal Services Client (version 6.2.0.14085). When I select my Terminal Server Bookmark I now see a maximized Remote Desktop window showing that I'm "Connecting to my host tsfarm.xxx.xxx..." and then i'm redirected to my terminal server loggin screen. The real issue occurs after I select Start > Log off User from inside my terminal server session. The Remote Desktop session believes my network connection has been lost instead and shows a Reconnecting window over a now darkening monochromatic bitmap image of my terminal server login screen. I can select Cancel but my Remote Desktop session window now has a message titled Windows Terminal Server Proxy with the information message: "This will disconnect your windows session. Your programs will continue to run on the server while disconnected" My RDP client on my desktop has an to uncheck "Reconnect if connection is lost". Can I do that from within Juniper Admin Console?

Hey Felix, Looking at your attatched screenshot, I pass the Username variable on the "Bookmark Tab" not the Resource Tab. It works for us! Good luck.

My mistake... I have SA6000's clustered in Active/Passive in front of the firewall. Behind the firewall are my 6509's, the F5's and the Terminal Server Blade Farm.

I have two SA 6000s @ 5.5r5 in a (Active-Passive Cluster) behind two F5's in load balance. We've been up since Mar 07. No availability issues. Very basic setup: used primarily as a proxy to our Terminal Server Farm.

That's how my users connect to their Terminal Server. Do you have other users with same Role and having the same problems? Does this user have the same experience on a different computer? I would have to check the Laptop OS's Firewall settings. Lately a McAfee AntiVirus change appears to be

Hey Kevin, This is my first upgrade and I didn't know where to look. I've found in the 6.2 GA release notes where automatic upgrades from 5.5 R5.1 Build 12781are supported but not the 5.5 R5 Build 12491 that I'm at. So my next question is, if I have to "step up" does it make more sense to go to the 5.5 R7 Build13237 (that is supported) and then up to 6.2 R5 Build 14085 or would you suggest a different path?
