So if I have only SSL V3 and TLSV1 Selceted Also only 128bit encryption or higher. Is the SA-4500 only doing AES encryption on the SSL at this point ? sha1 ?? I'm tyring to verify what is the encryption algorythim being used. Under security I can only select the encyption strength not encryption type. Thanks.

Couple questions. I now the admin guide states it uses 128 or 168 bit encyption. But is their any detial what kind of encryption like AES, DES, etc Is the encryption setting a Global setting on the SA-4500 for all incomming access. ? What would be the recommended setting for highest security for Juniper SSL_VPN encryption. Thanks for the help...Bowling.

I was wondering if anyone know how to configure the Juniper SA4500 to block the login screen if the user does not have the correct domain name. e.g juniper.net happens to be their microsoft domain name. I would assume it be done in Host Checker some how if possible. Thanks Bowling...

I have all Juniper network Infra. Going through the SSL-VPN device and sftp to my J6530, and EX4200 I only get 20Kbps. bandwidth pipe for ftp or uploading code to the routers and switches. Now if I by pass the SSL-VPN deivce and sftp direct to my ISP router I get 200Kbps. For a crazier test I opended 10 sftp sessions to all network devices and they all were 20Kbps a peice.. So it seems like the SA-4500 is restricting the bandwidth per session to 20K, but the Bandwiths settings I found were global which are set to 3Mbps. Any ideas, is thier a defualt per bandwidth session setting I'm hitting... FYI - Im using Filezilla for my sftp client.

I have two SA4500's running in my enviorment and currently running Active/Passive Clustering using VIP for both external and internal interfaces. I like to use the vlan feature to add other groups and segment them on their own subnet. When I look at configuring vlans and turn on trunking it will break my cluster as the internal interface has no vlan tied to it or is capabale of vlan taggging. Simple network, Two EX4200 with a trunk between them and one SA4500 on each switch Thanks Roger.

Need a JSAM White Paper for my Security Guy I need to prove their is no way that a virus can be transmitted from a end device back to the user Support PC or Laptop using the JSAM Cleint and just using Putty Client and SSH via port 22 for CLI access. We have a Juniper SA-4500 SSL-VPN Server. Thanks for anyone help.
