If you are concerned about active/passive cluster performance on the SA6500 platform you could always opt for an active/active config - there is no licensing change on a two-unit cluster (although obviously you would have to have a load balancer). Use Excel 2007 if you're not already? (No seriously the files should be less than half the size). But even if that is all you are using the 2Mbit line for a 10MB file is still going take 40 seconds - if two users want the file at the same time you can double that, so I can see why your users are complaining. Hi all, Update from JTAC today: After the complete analysis of this issue, we are working out to fix this issue in our upcoming major IVE release 7.0R1 which is scheduled for Mid May 2010. I just wanted to let you know that this is the first time we are officially qualifiying Active Sync on IVS support. The PR ref is 502051 if anyone wants it. Hi Elena, I'm running Kaspersky AV 2010 (9.0.0.736) and it's detected fine by our Host Checker on 6.5 R2 with ESAP 1.5.7 and we were running 1.5.5 until Friday and it was OK on that too. We've got a case open for this with JTAC and it has been escalated - ActiveSyc not working in an IVS after upgrade from 6.4R2 to 6.5R2. What is really odd is that the DNS errors (when DNS is fine) appear in the root IVS but not the configured IVS. Tried creating a whole new IVS from scratch but no difference.
