The TightVNC project has a java viewer. I've used their software for years and it is my favorite flavor of VNC. I've used the java viewer specifically on my Mac and it works pretty well. Here's the link to the http://www.tightvnc.org/

Thanks for the reply. I've gone through the documentation on uploading a java app and it seems pretty straight forward. Anything hinky or anything that I need to keep in mind when uploading this app or using it? Matt

I'm setting up my SA4500 for the first time and the telnet/ssh java app included is horrible. It keeps crashing whenever I try to use vim in the console. Have you gotten Mindterm to work? I'd love to know how well that went. Matt

Hello, I'm in the process of setting up an SA4500 for the first time. I'm running 6.4 on it. I've created an ssh bookmark to one of our servers and have it working. The problem comes when executing vi or vim from within the session. Most of the time it just crashes the session window. I've been able to start both programs without specifying a file and they open fine. When I ":q" out the window closes. If I try to open any file it crashes. I've found I can sometimes open a file with vi/vim if I leave the default font size alone but when I close the vim file it still closes the windows. Using any other font size and the window closes on execution. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using XP SP3 patched, IE7.0.5730.11, Firefox 3.0.10 & Java JRE 1.6.0_07-b06.
