Is it me or can anyone else see a 2inch circle of ultra bright light in the monitor during a meeting. look at the monitor from the side. Slide the meeting window and the circle goes with it.

Hi Bickys, you can set the users start page to https://intranet1.mycompany.com by going to either a particular roles UI options or under the default options for all the roles, then, once they login they are sent straight to your internal portal. However, users will still need to login to the SA, just make sure you enable SSO in order for the credentials to be sent to the intranet page.

Hello Sud and welcome, Yes your users will be prompted to auto upgrade their clients IF that option is enabled, what you can do is go to the installers page and download the installers, then you can push the files to all the users using your patch management utility.

this will be interesting to see the outcome of this, as it seems you are forcing users to purchase a router if they only have a cable modem. I would consider looking at MAC/certificate/username authentication.

not sure why i'm having a brain fart trying to remember how to explain this, but i beleive it has to do with the route from 192.168.x.x to 192.168.x.x or there is no route from your external 192.168.x.x to your 10 network. that is where i would start looking. sorry i couldnt break it down further.

understood, however everything is functioning the way it was intended, the browser based landing page is actually a layer2 connection to your network which is why when connected to pulse and you log into wsam you are logged out of pulse, and vice versa, at least thats how it was in the past, pulse is a layer 3, which means it creates a tunnel and allows users to feel as if they are sitting in the office, they will be able to ping, map drives, and most of all, open documents and save them from network shares.

I have always used the Junos pulse as an alternative to the SA landing page since once a user logs into Junos Pulse they are functioning as if they were at the office. seems like your users are stuck in a loop, have them click on start/ all programs/Junos pulse and login there, that should be all the need.

NC is staying connected and the shoretel phone disconnects? is it various users or just one ? my shoretel engineer said they use the softphone with Junos pulse with no issues, can you test using Pulse? this would help isolate the issue to NC, also try running a constant ping to the shoretel box to see if the ping climbs right before it drops.

has this worked for other users? i can see them both but when i try to install Junos Pulse for Samsung i get "Incompatible with other application using the same shared user ID" error message. I was getting this on stock ICS 4.02 as well as afte applying leaked 4.04 patch, as well as on another carriers samsung with another users ID

Have you tried the custom start page under the users role? i use this method for some vendors so that when they log in they DO NOT get a landing page and are redirected straight to the the intended website or url. Go to the role you want to assign this to or create a new role click UI options, under start page select Custom start page and enter the url you want them to receive Save and test

this is pretty much the exact same scenario i am faced with, but we already have a second sa4500 with a 500 user ICE license in another state for DR and i do push the config once a month or so, the problem lies with the duplicate network since its a DR site, i was almost going to buy a third sa4500 with a 250 user cluster license and set them to A/A. total cost would have been around 20k, luckily we are now looking at some 10Gb ideas which will let our DR site behave as if its one big network and allow me to set the current box to A/A with just the need for the cluster license.

if its just one machine its most likely a security setting on that machine, try setting IE security settings to defualt or ensure user is an admin.

am i correct in saying that you are creating a link to each individual user manually?
