Hi all, Every now and then we find the PSC VA may have a time sync issue, or the licensing server may disconnect and a whole bunch or major and critical events logged in the event logs. What would be handy (and a fairly simple feauture in this day and age) would be to get an email notification sent out when this happens so the administrators are aware and can help resolve quickly. Is there such a feature or setting available? We're using mainly PSC VA 8.3rx. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. There is only one connection profile, but multiple access controls setup which the user is a member of more than one. I can test access control connectivity myself with some simple telnet testing, however was hoping the main landing page could show multiple VPN tunnel connection options in the merge mode, just like it can show various different web page links, terminal services and HTML 5 connections etc. all combined in the same landing page via different assigned roles. Seems this is not possible in the merge configuration unfortunately.

Hi all, Wondering if there's a way to merge different VPN tunnel roles into the one main page when users login? If I have a user that is assigned to two different VPN tunnel roles (each with different security settings) the only way I can see how to choose which one to use is by setting the user realm to "User must select from among assigned roles". Is it possible to have the "Merge settings for all assigned roles" and have multiple VPN tunnels showing on the same landing page? Currently if I have the merge option set it just shows the one VPN tunnel link but users don't know which one that is.

Hi All, I get the below error through the Apple Hob RDP client when trying to use Terminal Services from a Mac web browser. Seems to be security authentication issues with SSL etc. I can connect fine with normal MS RDP or HTML 5. Has anyone else come across this issue and know the fix? Error: HLJWT2001E Reason: java.lang.Error: security layer negotiation failed (permitted rdp+tls+credssp / supported rdp / tried rdp) Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have setup users with full VPN tunnel access and configured the session options to allow for session extension and session timeout warning. What I noticed is when the timeout warning appears and asks if you want to extend the session, if i select yes it logs me out and takes me back to the login page?! Anyone else experienced this? I'm using the Virtual Appliance 8.2r4. Thanks.

I have several different RDP thick clients on my mac which I normally use to connect to Windows with via RDP (MS RDP, Remote Desktop Manager). Issue is when I try through the Pulse Secure it doesn't prompt or allow me to use it. The Terminal Services method through Pulse doesn't assign full VPN access either, so is more secure and much simpler to use (if it worked). I guess my other option could be to allow full VPN access but just lock down to only use port 3389 for RDP, far from ideal, but at least a work around...

I'm already using Chrome unfortunately. The RDP pop up seems to appear, but it's just blank (white). Any other setting in Pulse? Otherwise I can try Firefox, Safari etc...

Hi All, I have setup Terminal services Resource Profiles to several Windows 7 PC's. I can login and connect to these fine using a Windows PC, but when I try connecting from a Mac, I just get a blank web browser window pop up. With some small icons in the corner to exit, log out etc. Is there a way to launch the RDP client instead? I have the option in the Terminal Services to enable java support - This allows terminal services to work on non-Windows platforms, and provides a fallback option in other cases where ActiveX is not supported. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just did some more troubleshooting and worked out that as soon as I open Network Connect application and it opens the login page my routes change (and I can no longer ping the Two Factor Authentication I.P address required to login). I also lose access to google / google searches but other sites such as www.bing.com work without issue. The two differences in the routing are the below: Destination: 0&0x58 GW: link#4 Flags UCS Refs: 2 Netif: en0 Destination: ec2-54-241-191-167 GW: link#4 Flags UHRLWIi Refs: 1 Use: 18 Netif: en0 Expire: 17 As soon as I close Network Connect and delete/re-add my WiFi stack from Network preferences these disappear and I can access/ping everything again. Hi All, I have setup Network Connect (older Pulse Secure client) on my new MacBook Pro El Capitan and it's works OK for a limited time. There is something that triggers it to fail when logging in and out thru the VPN and different wireless connections and then becomes completely unusable. I can hit the default login page, but then it fails trying to login with error code: ds.mac.app.1003 After this fails, I have issues accessing web pages especially the default www.google.com UNTIL I remove my wifi connection in system preferences and then recreate it. What I have tried and has been UNSUCCESSFUL: Uninstalling and re-installing Network Connect Using I.P address to avoid DNS Resetting the network wireless connections Completely uninstalling NC as per article: https://objectpartners.com/2011/12/19/getting-juniper-network-connect-vpn-client-running-on-mac-os-x-10-6/ Running 32Bit mode Trying to run from a VM (vmware fusion) PC Running a Mac OSx repair The only way I fixed this last time was a complete disk wipe and OS reinstall! This then got it working for about 5 days until the issue started again. I'm definitely not keen on wiping my laptop again just to fix this issue! If anyone has some insight as to how to fix this, please let me know.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. The users authenticate via AD accounts and they will be using the same accounts wherever they go, so I assume the PS device will need to decipher if they are on a "secure" device or not and then assign access accordingly. I've had a look at host checker but I think that's either just an allow or deny policy right, can you say i.e. if they don't have these mac addresses then only give them limited VPN tunnel access? Thanks!

Hi All, I'm wondering if it's possible to configure the PS environment to allow full VPN tunnel access if the users are connecting from their corporate PC's and laptops but only allow limited VPN tunnel access (i.e. RDP via either VPN tunnel or resource profile) if they are connecting from other unknown PC's and laptops? Is this simple/possible to configure? Thank you
