@Jickfoo, We have several users out of about 100 that do the same thing. Some folks it works in I.E. only, others it works in Firefox only. It should work in both. Sometimes I've fixed this by removing the host checker from Add/Remove Programs, then reboot and install the Host Checker 'Manually' with the install from Installers from the SA. Reboot and try again. This has fixed the I.E. only or Firefox only issue for most machines. I've just upgraded our SA4000 to 6.4R3 without issue. @Jickfoo, When I meant "Connection" I meant if you had checked the appropriate Host Checker Policy. But from your response it seems you already have. Have you tried unchecking it then logout then logback in and recheck. I know it sounds stupid and Windows like but when I run into problems that do not make sense I try not to overlook anyting or discount any "strange" possibilities. Integralis_FR, Anytime I've had host checker problems I've unstinstalled the host checker and reinstalled it manually. You can down the host checker from System --> Installers.There is a manual installer only for Windows. I run everyting on a MAC but users are Windows. KuJo, I was able to uninstall and reinstall NC on my two Snow Leopard installs without problems. I even ran application cleaners before I reinstalled each time. I did not try in 64bit mode though. I don't know if your friends are running into the problem trying to install NC in 64bit mode. I always hade to do the permissions fix and add the one directory to get it to work though. I'm on NC 6.4.0 if it helps. Update: I did install NC with the standalone installer. You can download it from the from Maintenance section way at the bottom, then System --->Installers and Choose your desired OS version for NC. I hope this helps. The permission fix and Frameworks directory work in 32 bit mode but does anywone have a fix for 64bit mode. Network Connect just spins and spins without initiating the tunnel. Snow does NOT run in 64 bit by default, only server does. You must hold down numbers 6 and 4 on boot to initiate it or modify a file to do it by default. ... View more
