Can somebody at Juniper explain me why the user Agent from the Junos Pulse application is changing at every new version released on the App Store !! we use this in the SA to prevent non-iOS user to connect to our SA, but so far at each version they changed the User Agent and it's resulting in people unable to connect to the VPN with their mobile devices. In the previous version there was 2 different agent: JunosPulseiPhone JunosPulseiPad Now it's: JunosPulse(Version-3.2.0.20175)iPad/iPhone JunosPulse(Version-3.2.0.20175)iPhone The newest issue is now that they have included the version in the UserAgent, so in the SA section fro Browser restriction the workaround I found was to include the following: *JunosPulse(Version-*)iPad/iPhone* *JunosPulse(Version-*)iPhone* I just hope the Junos Pulse developper will stop messing around with the user agent and start having a fixed way of identifying the Apps to the SA appliance !! thanks

We are running into the same issue. When we use the Pulse app directly, VPN works wonderfully with cert auth. But when We define an on-deman VPN policy, it's not working and give us the same error. id this (vpn-on-deman) should be working on iOS with Pulse ?

It's what I tryed. But the page did'nt showed up of only few parts of the page showed up. It was really a worse results than using the re-writing engine

Anyone know how to configure this ? We have a bunch of internal web site & our SharePoint server that are not running quite well with the rewriting engine. I don't want to use SAM for it. How can I configure a URL for a site behind our Corporate Firewall to be accessed by the IVE without rewriting the code. I tryed the method in the Juniper Documentation but the site is not showing up. any idea ?

We are currently running version 6.5R2 on an SA4500. We have our SharePoint 2007 server configured through an IVS, using SSO and normal SharePoint 2007 config pre-builed in the IVS. Accessing the site works well. But when we try access documents with a french caraters (Ž, ˆ, , ™ for exemple) in the URL, the documents does not open. As soon as there is such caracter wether in the directory name of the document name, the document does not open up. It's working with XP ! Not Vista nor 7. It all happens when using it with IE. Because when using Chrome, Firefox of Safari it's working fine. However I think the method is differant because IE use an ActiveX to connect Office to SharePoint, whiles other browser uses "traditional" Hyper-link download method. Anyone can help me with this ?

Is there a way to generate a bunch of config and importing it by XML but on an IVS ? I only see the ways to do it directly on the Root. Anyone ever had to generate config (XML or other) and import it on an IVS ? How you did that ?

I would like to get help for a Design perspective. We have 350 stores. Each stores has access to 3-4 computers. Since they are franchisee we need to block inter-store access, therefore one user cannot have access to another users computers remotely using the SSL-VPN. At first I wanted to create 350 roles with role classification based on the username. Then create all ressources and assign them to their repective role. So we will end up with 350 x 3-4 computers defined + 350 roles + 350 x 3-4 computer in the WSAM config....and so on... I would generate an XML and import it... I would not create all those devices by hands, i'm not crayzy. Will that work ? I mean Is there a limit to the number of roles you can have on an IVS ? What kind of design would YOU do in my place ?

Hi, We have two SA-4500 in two different Data-Center with different IP addressing. But we're loadbalencing with the same public URL. I dont know how to export the private key from our primary SA to be able to upload our public certificate on the second SA. It that something possible ? Do I need to buy one certificate per SA from Entrust ? Thanks !

Hi, Is there any possibility to make the host-cheker to load after the authentication ? Currently we have issue because we have different Host-cheker rule per realm, but since it's loading before the user even get to the authentication it's always failing. Thanks Nicolas
