Unfortunately no joy, although on the first notebook I tried the session stayed up for more than 30 minutes. On another box (desktop) there is no improvement at all (RDP session disconnects every minute).

Here is what Greg Wood says. I've found that the Juniper simply doesn't like UDP that is part of RDP 8. Disable it. Group Policy: Local Computer Policy Computer Configuration Administrative Templates Windows Components Remote Desktop Services Remote Desktop Connection Client Turn Off UDP On Client --> Enabled Regedit: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\Client\ Create a dword and assign a value of 1 to: tofClientDisableUDP dword:00000001

I haven't checked this thread in a while, as I was able to use the workaround with the Windows 7 VM, so sorry for the late reply! As we can only check the issue when there's a new (private) Windows 8 PC trying to connect information is sparse but here's the info from my private machine (tower PC) as well as a HP All-In-One Pavillion PC - fresh install (no upgrade) / preinstalled Win 8 - wired only (Tower PC) and wireless - I have only checked RDP to a locally run Hyper-V VM, no issues (this is the way I work remotely via Juniper atm) - what I'm planning to do: install a Windows 8 VM to check if the issue remains. If not that could point to network drivers as the VM would use the virtual network adapter (which works without issues in the Win 7 VM). I'm happy to try other stuff if you have any suggestions.

No error messages as such: the sessions start fine, then after a few seconds (up to 2 minutes) the screen freezes and you get the reconnect message from the windows terminal services client. After that the session reconnects until the next freeze.

Before updating the SA to an officially supported version (7.3): We use Citrix and RDP connections via Juniper Proxy services (either ActiveX or JSAM, no network connect). On all Windows 8 installations we have tried those sessions start up fine but will disconnect / reconnect all the time. I tried connecting both with IE 10 (Desktop) and Chrome, same behaviour. Virtual machines (XP or 7) inside the Windows 8 box work flawlessly. Has anyone used these features on Win 8 successfully or is this behaviour corrected in the new firmware?

We are trying to make this work. Firmware on the SA-2500 is the latest recommended version (6.3R 6.1) which only has WI up to version 4.6 as an option (which we selected). A fresh installation of the plugin (first use) works as expected. Once you log off and on again from the IVE you can login to the Webinterface but the session will not start. Looking at netstat and the running processes you can see that the client tries to connect directly to the Citrix server and the Juniper Citrix Proxy-Client is not running. Has anyone got this configuration working or an explanation why the Proxy-Client will not start? On some clients (Vista) it has been observerd to work multiple times. On all Windows 7 clients only once. Thanks for any help.
