I would like to add to this thread. I was having the same issue with "Network Connect" 6.3 dropping after a minute or two with the ....90 message. In looking the diagnosis test, I would see it start failing around DHCP. I tried changing some of the settings on my AT&T Quicksilver 3G USB but nothing. Until I found someone on an AT&T thread mention... "When connecting to a VPN make sure you are are not using accelerated mode. - DWC1." So, under AT&T Connection Manager go to Tools -> Settings -> Acceleration Tab -> Startup Type (Manual) and STOP it. Once I made this change... I noticed my security, compression and transport mode showing up in the basic view of "network connect", something I hadn't seen previously. As of this moment I've been connected without any drops.
