Hi Is it possible to run an SSL Netconnect VPN over another Netconnect VPN. I.e. Connect to Site1 SSLVPN -> LAN -> Connect to Site2 SSLVPN -> Client LAN Site2's SSL VPN appliance cannot be accessible from the internet hence why you need to connect to Site1 first. I have done some initial testing and it looks like you cannot. When I try to fire off the second Netconnect session i get the following error: 'An NC Tunnel is already configured on this client. Please terminate the existing session' nc.windows.app24043 Any ideas? Thanks Stu

We are running code version 5.5R1 (build 11711). And its definitely native to the external interface IP. Hence why i was trying to do the same here. Stuart

Thanks for the response. Yup all of the above has been configured. So that confirms my theory then. Is this a recent change in behaviour, as we are definitely managing these devices for another client to the external interface, but using an earlier version of code? Thanks Stuart

Ken Thanks the response. Hi Im running a SA4500 Cluster with software 6.1R6 (build 13733) and Im having an issue with SNMP. SNMP has been configured, but I am unable to reach the device using snmp. The device is fully ip reachable, with ping working fine, but when ever we try to discover the vpn boxes using snmp or even do a snmp walk the requests times out. The traffic is being seen through the firewall which is the next hop to the device, so I can only assume that the traffic is reaching the device. Any ideas on why this occuring or is there a way I can troubleshoot the traffic hitting the SA? Thanks Stuart

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has encountered any issues with DNS resolution when using Netconnect. Randomly I am getting users telling me that sites are not available via IE, I had not witnessed or been abe to replicate this until this morning. After doing a bit of investigation I have found the issue was with the DNS resolution. If i tried to access a URL in IE7 the page would not be displayed usual 404 error. If I pinged the name in the command prompt I got the name could not be found. Yet doing an NSLOOKUP from command prompt chose the correct servers and was successful. In running wireshark and trying all three again, I see that for the 2 that fail the DNS server being called is my local broadband router, and not the correctly configured corporate DNS servers, which are shown as configured under the IPconfig /all of the Juniper virtual adaptor. I am running netconnect v6.1.0. And I have no split tunnelling etc enabled everything should be encrypted across the tunnel. This has so far been very random, and after reconnecting a few times it has resolved itself. Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated? Thx
