Hi All, Is there a way to download the end user session reports using API/Scripting or any other automation tool. Currently we have to download it manually which is not ideal. i want to automate last 24hours login session report. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. I am really in need of this.

Sorry for posting this thread again but this issue is still outstanding We have several reports of people having issues to connect office network from home over Pulse secure vpn client. Affected users are located mostly in EMEA. Common scenario is that the VPN tunnel gets initiated and the connection gets established. However people are not able to browse the internet/internet on their machine. They get network drives assigned and they are working fine. We did some tests and results are: - Users in Kronberg with that issue are using Unitymedia (aka UPC). They provide a DualStack-Lite connection (IPv6 & IPv4). Same issue is also being faced by users in Ireland also have this DS-Lite or IPv6 connection - If connecting to a pure IPv4 connection (mobile phone hotspot) everything works fine. - Beside of Laptops, also iPads are affected if you connect via Junos Pulse (VPN setup works but connection to VDI as an example times out) - I found a couple of articles in the Internet that changing the MTU value might help, so I tried that at home (MTU was set to 1500, now it is at 1460). That fixed my issue with the T-Mobile WLAN call which wasn’t working properly but not the office VPN issue. any thoughts?

This is very common problem with ESAP. You may open a case with Pulse Secure TAC to open a PRS ticket and this would be fixed in upcoming ESAP releases.

Hi Sveto, you need to update the Gateway with latest ESAP version (3.1.0). If that doesn't help then raise this with Pulse TAC team and they will include this version in next ESAP release. In the meantime you can make temporary arrangement to pass the hostchecker on affected devices by creating a HC rule and match the McAfee process name running on client system. hope this helps. Hi Aidar, it will be good to have a notification sent to users for intermittent disconnection during upgrade. Normally it takes between 10-20 mins to come back. Regards, Kapil

Hi Aidar, Upgrade should be easy enough however you can take following precautions, 1. Take backup of all the logs and delete them all from appliance. that will speed up the box to come back after reboot because all the logs are achieved before reboot. 2. Take system config, certificate etc backup just in case it does not come back after reboot. Lastly, have patience because it sometimes take 15-20 mins to come back after reboot. You can also refer the how-to guide for upgrade though upgrades are straight forward. Regards, Kapil

Hi Hector, Please note all the authentication traffic goes via internal interface therefore I assume your Symantec Auth server is on south side. I reckon ruc that try with default sign-in page however would also suggest to check if there are any logs on your Authentication server because if server is unreachable then normally timeout errors are recorded in logs.

Have you tried deleting your login account from Users lists? you can find all the user accounts in Authentication -> Auth. Servers -> Google (TOTP server) -> Users. Select the user and delete the entry. Hope this helps.

Hi, you can use any SNMP based tool to gather all this data via Pulse MIB file. I recently configured it in Solarwinds and it gathers other information as well e.g. CPU, Memory, Web users, Disk space etc.

Hi, Connection is not dropped when internet/intranet access is lost. Access to internal resources is fine e.g. outlook, printing, shared drives etc. only problem is with internet/intranet sites. We are running 8.2R6. Not tested on MacOS as only corporate users reported this issue. Same behaviour when users use web access via NetConnect.

Few of my customers in CE are also facing similar issue but specific to UnityMedia or UPC service provider in CE region. internet and intranet stops working after connecting Pulse Secure client however outlook and other applications works fine. DNS resolution doesn't happen. UnityMedia using ds-lite so suspecting issue with service provider network but this is good place to check with wider audience.

Just wanted to check if Pulse Secure MAG has SCOM management pack available. I want to monitor and prepare reports for the concurrent users logged in, Memory, CPU utilisation etc. I have downloaded the MIB file from gateway and uploaded in Solarwinds but it doesn't seems to be working. Would be great if someone can advise how to monitor these variables in SMNP based monitoring systems.

The only way to check the authentication here is to check the logs on Back up Radius server. This is because when you configure Auth Server, you configure it with name and logs show the Auth server name. As both the Radius servers are configured under same Auth server name hence doesn't show the specific Radius server name in logs.
